If you or a friend has a little gobbling down these Gerber Puffs snacks, consider repurposing the containers and making sensory bowling pins or sensory bottles.
Materials:
- Gerber Puff snack containers (as many as you’d like to make!)
- Red Duct Tape: https://amzn.to/3tyyEZx
- Mini LED Lights: https://amzn.to/3TAuxH9
Steps for DIY Bowling Pins:
- Peel off the plastic wrapper.
- Give your container a good rinse to get any leftover snack crumbs out.
- If you’d like, add red tape around the neck of the container to make it look more like a bowling pin.
- Drop in a few mini LED lights and put the lid back on.
- Turn off the lights and enjoy some glow bowling!
- (Note: if you are using these for sensory bottles you may want to glue/secure the lid so that there is no risk of anything inside being ingested. The bottles themselves are not clear and see through, so you may need to test things out to see how they work with the bottle.)
