Jen Heebink is the 2022 SHAPE America National Adapted PE Teacher of the Year, 2022 Central District Adapted PE Teacher of the Year, and 2020 MNSHAPE Adapted PE Teacher of the Year. In April 2025, she premiered her first episode of the Heartbeats of Adapted PE Podcast with the vision to connect, inspire, and amplify adapted PE teacher voices and those who support all students. She is a keynote speaker and has presented Adapted PE sessions across the country at various state and national conferences. She teaches full time Adapted PE in the Buffalo Hanover Montrose Schools just outside Minneapolis. Jen is University of Wisconsin -River Falls 2010 undergrad with Health and Human Performance major/Adapted PE Minor and graduated with her masters in Adapted PE from the University of South Carolina.
