✨🌟 Teacher Spotlight 🌟✨
Each week, we highlight an inspiring educator in Adapted PE, showcasing their strategies, successes, and impact on students
Teacher Spotlight: Bryan Wickoren

This week, we celebrate Bryan Wickoren, a leader in the field of Adapted Physical Education. Bryan serves as the JEFFCO APE Coordinator and Adapted Athletics Specialist and has been recognized as the 2019 SHAPE Central District APE Teacher of the Year, as well as Colorado APE Teacher of the Year in both 2017 and 2009. Known for his exceptional dedication to his students and the unified programs he has developed, Bryan is one of the most respected professionals in APE. I had the pleasure of meeting Bryan and his wife, who is also an Adapted PE teacher, during the SHAPE Colorado conference this past fall. Their shared passion for inclusivity and student success is truly inspiring. Thank you, Bryan, for your outstanding contributions to the field!
