Old Town Road Cardio Drumming Lesson Plan

Objective: To engage students in a fun, energetic cardio drumming routine set to “Old Town Road” by Kidz Bop Kids, adaptable for various skill levels.

Materials Needed:

  • Exercise balls on stands (drumming surfaces)
  • Drumsticks for each student
  • Audio equipment to play “Old Town Road”
  • Visual aids for drumming patterns

Introduction (5 minutes):

  1. Introduce “Old Town Road” and discuss its popularity and catchy rhythm.
  2. Explain the concept of cardio drumming and its benefits.
