Objective:
To develop ball skills in middle school students through a structured, interactive lesson plan using pickleball GIFs, music, and fun activities.
Materials:
- 1x Pickleball paddles and ball per student
- Projector or screen for displaying GIFs
- Velcro dots for “Pickle and Spoon Race” adaptation
Structure:
- Duration: 45-60 minutes
- Levels: 1 (Beginner), 2 (Intermediate), 3 (Advanced)
- Each Level: 4 Skills
- Practice Time per Skill: 1-3 minutes
Fun Activity: Pickle and Spoon Race
- Objective: Relay race balancing the ball on the paddle.
- Adaptation: Use Velcro dots for beginners to stick the ball on the paddle.
- Enhancement: For advanced players, replace balancing with paddle taps (tapping the ball up and down on the paddle while moving).
